Best Places To Share Your Nest
Write a Private email to family and friends
Compile an email list of your closest family and friends and write them a heart felt note outlining why you chose to register with Feather The Nest. Ask them to help you contribute to make your real estate dreams a reality. Not sure where to start? Here is a sample email.
Sharing on social networks might be an easier way to get the word out to family and friends that you don’t have emails for. We suggest something like this as a post:
We decided to skip the traditional registry and registered for a house instead! Check out our nest: https://www.featherthenest.com
Post on Your Wedding Website
Most wedding websites have an option to add links to your registries. Make sure to include your nest link on your site so when guests check out the wedding details they know what gifts you would like.
Post on your blog or Tumblr
You can accept donations to you nest anytime, it doesn’t have to end after the wedding so include a link in the sidebar of your blog or Tumblr so people can see your nest.
Bridal Shower Invitations
Make sure to send a link to your nest to the host of your bridal shower. Even if you aren’t having a full blown Feather The Nest themed bridal shower, you can include the link as a gift option for the shower. You can print one of our registry cards out if you want to include it with the invitation.
