During the great recession my wife and I lost our home due to my loss of a corporate job.  We have been renting a large home

that is very expensive because my mother in law needed to move in for several years.  After she moved out, my wife and I are

stuck with a large home we don't need.

We have 2 grandson's, Dylan and Devin who enjoy coming to our house because they can play outside and do boy stuff.  We 

want to purchase a smaller home in January 2017, one that is less expensive than the rent that we pay now.

We have saved up for the down payment, but with a little help we would be in a little bit better shape.
