My bathroom is not only old and outdated, but it is literally falling apart. It started out we had the tub sprayed with epoxy by professionals and that of course does not last. After 10 years the paint cracks and peels and turns an ugly yellow hue. So trying to save money and salvage the tub I began stripping it and sanding it. Well last night I hit the tile with the sander and tiles came crashing down! The drywall undreneath the tile is basically mush, almost like wet sand. So me trying to save money turned into having to replace the walls. We knew it had to happen eventually, but wanted to save little by little. Now we have to get it done sooner because I can't have my daughter get clean in this bathroom which is our only one. We noticed the toilet in our other bathroom must also be leaking because the floor and tile around that is cracking and sinking. If anyone can help towards our goal of replacing the tub and walls and toilet we would absolutely appreciate it and find some way to pay it forward!
