Life has been a struggle, I went from substance abuse, mental health, and homelessness, over 10 years ago. I was about to get my GED, go to college to get my Associate's degree in Behavioral Health, and studied to get my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts; now currently in college to obtain my Master's degree in Psychology. I have spent 5 years working and supporting the homeless, mental health and substance abuse population in the city of Philadelphia. College financially has been a struggle but I manage; Now I want to own a piece of the American dream a home to call my own but I need help with the down payment. This may never happen for me but I will never give up; finally walking up to my door; and walking into my own home. What a feeling. Please help me with making this dream come true.
