We’re a small family of four, two of which are beautiful furbabies. We’re closing on our dream home on December 30th, but we haven’t quite reached our down payment goal of 5%. I’m employed full-time in medical claims billing. My boyfriend is an Army veteran, currently working for a small carpentry business. We rent a tiny (about 400 sq ft) apartment with thin walls, close to a busy road. We were lucky to find a beautiful home in the peaceful country, at a great price. We worked hard to get it under contract, and it was a bit rushed due to increased interest in the property. I was already envisioning my pets sunbathing in the sunroom, and I couldn’t let it go.
