I'm a 20 year-old, full-time Nursing student at a community college looking to fund a down payment on my first home. In addition to studying, I work four part-time jobs delivering food and groceries around town. This gives me enough income for my everyday expenses, but leaves little room for saving. Getting pre-approved for even a small starter home was difficult with my income as an independent contractor. Lenders require a 25% down payment which isn't feasible to save for quickly since homes are very expensive right now.
On top of that, I won't have a place to stay by the beginning of summer when my parents move out to Florida. Any help funding this down payment would be really appreciated!
