We are buying a home finally! we have found the home that we love and we got approved for the loan but we just need to come up with the down payment and closing cost. Last time we applied for a home loan they wanted us to come up with an outrageous amount for a down payment so we never went past that. Well this time we only need to have 3.5% down and closing cost. It depends on the home we get and it's price. The max amount we asked to get approved we need $8000 down and the estimated closing cost is $6500 So anything over these amounts will go towards getting living room furniture and beds for the children. We are really hoping to have this amount soon so that we can put an offer in on the home we found that we love but if not then we will look for another home that falls within our budget. We are selling our land that we got a few years back but that's gonna be a while and not enough to cover much of anything and no telling if it will sell soon or not to help cover the cost of this. We have always lived with family except when we rented from a crappy landlord who refused to fix things and it allowed our stuff to become ruined and then he charged us damage fees when we left. We will never rent again as that was a horrible experience. We have 5 children and they have never been able to have a place to call home and be able to invite friends over. They are super excited that we are almost to that point where they can have friends come over! We need our own place and it is time for us to have our own place. If anyone can help us out we would forever be grateful. If you can't help us out then please pray we find a way to make it happen sooner rather than later. We don't want to dissappoint our children any longer as they saw the house and they absolutely loved it and already picked out their rooms and decided where the dog was gonna sleep at night. It's not a very big house but it works for us and the yard is amazing with plenty of room for them to play!
