Hi guys. I am a single mom raising a teenager by myself. My sister, who lives with me and helps me when she can, has MS. I am a school teacher and have been working three jobs for the past 6 months trying to save up money for a downpayment to buy a house. This strategy is not working. Although I am saving a little money, the amount I am able to set aside is nowhere near the amount of money I need for a downpayment on a house.

For those of you who know me, you know this is very difficult for me to ask for help from anyone. So if I am on this site asking for help, then I must really need some assistance. I currently rent and I am tired of throwing money away. My lease is up in July. I can purchase a home and my payment will be much less than what I am paying right now for rent. I am tired, literally. Working three jobs is taking a toll. So, reluctantly, I am asking for help. Anything is greatly appreciated.
