My mother passed away on April 20 2015 leaving her house to me in her will. The problem is that her house still has a mortgage of $56,000 and a home improvement loan of $9,000 and both are currently two months behind and in danger of foreclosure. I'm currently unemployed long since exhausting my unemployment. I would like to turn th third floor bedroom into an apartment by adding a toilet,shower,and a kitchen sink to rent out so that I can pay my mortgage. The attic needs insulation,sheetrock,electrical,and of course plumbing in order to bring it up to code.
