A quote that really hits home; “there is a silent beauty hidden amongst pain, if you sit in it you may never find it; if you grow through it, You'll find the treasure.”― Nikki Rowe. It's been a long road to find happiness. Heartache, heartbreak, tears and even self-doubt. That's all changed!
What a year it's been and it's only April! For those that don't know, back in February, I was awarded sole custody of the girls (Madi & Kenz). These girls are truly amazing young ladies who deserve all the happiness that life can give them.
With that said, these girls have been in the same school district since they started. Madi starts High School next year and Kenz Middle School. In addition, a promise was made to the court during the custody hearing to keep them in their district.
The reality, with the housing market so inflated, we are up for yet again another big challenge. Covering costs for realtors, down payments, and even cash to cover overages from the approved amount has left me in a mindset of "This is going to be impossible." However, I've never given up and refuse to let these girls see me fail.
For those that know me, you know I struggle to ask for anything, let alone help in the form of money. However, with a short window to buy and the amount of money needed, the odds are stacked against us. I'm asking that you and your family consider a pledge to help with these costs. The girls, my wife, and I will be forever grateful for whatever you feel that you can gift to us.
“The road to happiness is paved with good deeds for others.”
