Ever since I met my wife back in senior year of highschool (close to 11 years ago), I dreamt of being able to eventually marry her and do my best to provide for her and our future family. We have had our share of struggles and triamphs but we have never lost sight of our goals. Thanks to God and the support of our loved ones, we were able to get married 3 years ago and both of us have completed college and have carreers that we enjoy. Now comes the times when we fight to fullfill the next goal on the list: home ownership and the pursuit of the American Dream. As is the case for many others, we focused on paying our debts to improve our credit and saved money to qualify for a home but now it leaves us with short space for home improvements or furniture/home décor. We began our home search about 2 months ago and patiently waited, looking for houses that fit our area, schools (although we do not have children yet), commute, layout criteria. After reviewing our options and feeling the pain that comes form rejected offers, we received great news yesterday that our offer for a dream home was accepted and now we just need to sign off to start the escrow process. Though the home is almost move in ready, we would appreciate any help in gathering funds for any repairs that come up or buying furniture and home décor that will help make it our own.
