As we start our lives together, Michael and I have thought a lot about owning our very first home. After doing tons and tons of research on the housing market, a million zillow searches saved and going to look at houses we have come to the nightmare realization that HOUSES ARE SO EXPENSIVE. We are saving as much as we can while still feeling like we have lives...barely. Michael works over-time, accumulates credit hours and still manages to get his butt to the gym every day. Bless his soul. Being a teacher with student loan debt is no ones dream, ever. I became a teacher not for the large paycheck. I love every minute of what I do and my kindergarten classroom is my second home. However, owning a home seems so very far away.
