I am seventy six years old and my only income is s.s. 

Through no fault of my own I had to put most of my working days income into replacing our house hold goods leaving me with little savings.

In the past two years we have had to replace the roof and sewer pipe at a cost of several thousand dollars. It is a stretch but I can make the payments on the loans used to pay for the improvements but there isn't any left over. Any help would be a great relief
