I'd inherited my childhood home at the passing of my mom some years ago and have been unable to afford to get a leaky roof fixed which is causing further damage. I've looked into various programs in my city but I just barely make it over the maximum income for my household size which makes me ineligible for most programs and which also makes it difficult to save.  The money raised will go towards getting the damages fixed which includes a new roof, ceiling and some wall damage that occurred due to the dripping over the years, painting and labor costs.
