I am a public school teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada and my husband and I have been looking for a home of our own for some time. After spending a year trying to teach biology online, we suddenly had to move when our rental company hiked our rent by 70%. We kept looking, despite the brutal market and increasing interest rates and we have finally managed to purchase a house! We are both so excited to get the keys to our very first home and to be able to truly make it our own.

Unfortunately between the past few years and the down payment, we don't have much left over to make any of the changes and improvements we'd like to. Specifically our new home is entirely without window coverings! So, as much as we like our neighbors, we'd love to be able to purchase some window treatments for privacy and light control and we could definitely use some help with that.
