I was introduced to this site and crowd funding in general by a work colleague,

M name is Marcella and I want to start of by saying that we are nothing special, just a dead normal young family. Mom, dad and two very good kids ( with loads of issues) and a dog named Daisy. My husband is a hardworking plumber and I work in a office. We pay our bills on time, take care of our kids, have no bad debt and try and help our community in our silly little way. But no matter how much harder or longer we work, we struggle to get ahead.

4 years ago we lost everything when both of us were made redundant by the companies we worked for within the same month. We had to sell everything we owned, our family home, cars everything and ended sleeping in a bathroom of an old factory for 8 months while trying to get back on our feet. This was very hard as we had no family to turn to. It has taken us all this time to get back on solid ground.

We have to beautiful boys, with severe disabilities, one has autism and Asperger Syndrome and the youngest one has a intellectual disability and a short term memory disorder due to drunk driver accident when he was younger. Our youngest will never be able to work or live on his own, so we will always have o take care of him.

My husband and I are two very hardworking people. We have never looked to anyone for a cent, but we need some help We have been renting for the last 3 years. We have had such bad luck as two of the owner sold the properties and one died so we had to pack up and leave. We have uprooted our two children so much, all the disruption has not been good for them. All we want is to buy a home of our own where these kids can grow up and have somewhere they can call their own. To be able to put a picture on a wall and not worry.

We can get a loan, but we just don't seem to be able to save enough for the deposit/ down payment. No mater how small, any help will be appreciated. We are not looking at get a mortgage paid off just a chance to get into our own home and offer these kids some security and stability. 

In return we will offer one room in our home to anyone or small family that is in need and does not have anywhere to go. to stay in and get a chance to figure out where they have to go. We know how difficult it is to stand in the street and have to look your kids in the eye and not know where you will be tomorrow.
