My partner and I have finally reached a point in our lives where we can afford to get our first home, but I am a little embarrassed to admit that we cannot put down as much as we would like to, as we both had some personal matter which affected our credits for some time. Being able to have a bigger down payment would help us lower our monthly payment, and allow us to have some leeway in case of unexpected home expenses. I realize that they are many people in similar situation, so anything given for us to achieve our dream will be greatly appreciated.
