After living in San Diego for 12 years, I have finally realized that this is home. Finally having rebuilt from my divorce, I am now in an emotional and financial place to begin building my nest egg for a down payment. My goal is to purchase a home by February 2023 - when I turn 40. My dream home would be structurally sound with 2+ bedrooms, 1+ bathrooms, a fenced yard, and a garage. I can figure out the rest. I expect to become a parent through foster-to-adopt some time in 2021, so this will be a house for myself, my child, and my pups. A place to call our own.
